Trade Mark Registration Services: Details

Upfront legal review of your trademark by specialized trademark attorneys
Is your brand eligible for registration? Does it comply with european trademark law? E.g.: your trade mark must be distinctive and must not describe what you offer.
Classification of goods and services
Trademarks must be well defined and categorized into the international Nice Classification. You tell us, for what goods and services you seek protection for and we "translate" this into the right classification. For most trademarks 3 classes are sufficient.
Legal Representation
If the applicant of a trademark has his/her/its domicile, principal place of business or a real and effective industrial orcommercial establishment outside the European Union, there is an obligation to have a legal representation.
Basic Conflict Search
Are there already identical registered trademarks? If so, your trademark might infringe earlier rights and should not be filed. Our trademark lawyers will advise you accordingly - however, an advanced trademark including similar trademarks research is always recommended!
Advanced Trademark Search
Research for identical and similar registered trademarks in all 28 european member states. A trademark conflict by filing a trademark without research can easily be quite expensive. A comprehensive trademark search minimizes those risks. Our specialized lawyers conduct a research in all necessary trademark databases and evaluate potential risks.
Handling of payment regarding office fees
We charge our fees and office fees in one invoice and take care of the timely payment of the office fees so that you do not have to deal with that.

We offer three flat fee packages for trademark registration in the European Union. All packages shall lead to a successful registration of your trademark. However the PRO package including all necessary trademark research beforehand is always recommended to avoid costly trademark conflicts. All applications for the registration of a trademark Europe through TMDB.EU are managed by accredited german trademark attorneys at the law firm of BREUER LEHMANN in Munich to best protect your interests.

NOTE: All prices mentioned cover up to one class. Prices do not include legal defenses in case of oppositions or objections. All fees are net fees, indicated in EURO if not otherwise specified. (e.g.: Swiss Francs, CHF). Additional 19% VAT may apply. Additional EUR 50 handling fee for non-European customers may apply (banking transfer costs etc.).

At the international level of trademark registration, you have two options: either you can apply for a trademark registration with the trademark office of each country in which you are seeking protection, or you can use WIPO’s Madrid System (International Registration) as we offer here.
The so called Madrid System is a one stop cost-effective solution for registering and managing trademarks worldwide. We file one trademark application, in one language to protect your mark in the territories of up to 95 members+. Managing your portfolio of trademarks through one centralized system is another big advantage in contrary to manage each trademark in each country with different trademark lawyers.

Note: For an international WIPO registration you need to start with a regional trademark first. So if you do not already have a trademark, go first for our trademark registration services in Germany or Europe (see above).
